The South Burlington School District is writing a new strategic plan this fall, and Superintendent Joe Clark wants the community to shape it. Anyone who wants to take part is welcome: parents and guardians, students, staff, and community members.
The Strategic Planning Committee
The full committee meets three times, at 6 pm:
- Wednesday, October 14
- Thursday, November 12
- Wednesday, December 9
The first meeting, on October 14, is in person. Details for each meeting, including the location and whether you can join online, will be sent by email to everyone who signs up.
The Steering Committee
From the people who sign up, the Superintendent will appoint a Steering Committee of 8 to 10. It looks in more depth at the priorities the full committee identifies and brings items back to the full committee for consideration.
Steering Committee members attend the three full committee meetings and three more online meetings, at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 28, Tuesday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 15. That is six meetings in total, with some reading between them.
The district is working with SPARC Executive Development and Consulting, which runs this sign-up and will facilitate the meetings. The form takes about two minutes.
Thank you. You are signed up.
Details about the first meeting on Wednesday, October 14 will come to you by email.
